Color Management: From your Camera to your final print
This workshop is designed to teach you everything you need to know about color managing your media to produce the best looking images for print & web output.
Starting in-camera, you’ll learn about file-types, resolution, different color spaces, and why images look so different on a screen versus on printed media. You’ll learn about the importance device calibration, how to use calibration tools & software to create custom profiles, and how to find/load the media profiles you need.
Utilizing Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop, you’ll learn a streamlined processing workflow and how to customize your workspace to ensure the best output results. You’ll learn how to soft-proof, view gamut warning, and make non-destructive adjustments to your images so they’ll print as beautifully as they look on the screen.
You’ll learn how to save/export for web & print, and how to print from Lightroom, Photoshop and Mirage. This workshop will also cover how to evaluate your prints, and the visual qualities of different kinds of print media.
